Historically the most common type of sheet vinyl is felt backed. It is constructed of three layers; a felt backing, a foam core and a vinyl wear layer. Felt backed vinyl is susceptible to curling, moisture and mildew.
This is a sheet vinyl product that offers a flat lay no curling system that can be easily patched and is more durable than felt backed sheet vinyl. Due to it’s fiberglass core, unlike felt, it will not mildew or curl.
